So, being the rabid fangirl that I am, I stalk gamestotal.com all the time for botwg updates, and today my searching proved fruitful.
BOTWG 64 = the holy grail of plot
IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW. OMG.
The past few chapters have been very confusing, but it's all suddenly cleared up.
I should probably start at the beginning, like the VERY beginning.
There are two Gods - The Emperor and The King - and they just happen to be brothers. The King loves humans and sees good in them, and The Emperor (aka Lord Darth Lord Vader), says he likes humans and then like, accidentally turns around and kills them n' stuff (probably some molestation goin' on as well seeing as he's EVERYBODY'S FREAKIN DAD.)
Anyway, this kind of pisses The King off, and since he's The King and older and just all around more badass, he goes after The Emperor who basically writes him off and says 'sure, sure, I won't do this and that and blah blah blah,' but then acidentally doesn't really do that.
So basically, there's a ton of tension between Darth Vader and The King.
WHO SHOULD BE INVOLVED BUT HABAEKS PARENTS!
We all know that Suh Wang Mo is Habaek's mom (The goddess of torture or yadda yadda), but she just happens to be married to THE strongest God, the king of the EAST (The King = king of the west, I THINK), Shin Nong. He's probably the best looking too, even though they all happen to be ridiculously hot.
Suh Wang Mo + Shin Nong not only = a really cute, and VERY deep love for one another (He calls her precious wife all the time, it's SO adorable) but they also = Mui (aka Habaek). Now I've already mentioned this probably, but they dressed Mui up like a girl all the time to ward of evil and let me say this, he's a beautiful girl.
So basically, they're throwing Mui a party and The King and The Emperor both show, and Sir Emperor douchebag starts a bunch of crap and The King is wearing a party hat that happens to be a cows head mask thing.
As it continues, Suh Wang Mo discusses with The King how Mui doesn't talk and how no one knows what kind of powers he has, just that he's going to basically pwn everyone. Who should show up but MUSHU!Dragon. Actually he's called the leader of the Oda Clan and he's a five-toed dragon, which means in Korean and Chinese mythology that he's a dragon lord.
I love how everyone is like 'WTF. Who sent the dragon?' and then they figure out that it was Mui, whose like, five. lulz.
With that, there's a bunch of drama because apparently The King = Fire, and Habaek = Water, and they are destined to kill one another. (Dragon-sama tells them all this XD). The Emperor seems disgustingly pleased, but The King is really nice. He like, gives Habaek a kiss and says that he will look forward to their destinies, and he hopes one day they can be allies.
But they aren't, and eventually, Shin Nong, Habaek's Father, is forced to join The King's side against Habaek, but at the same time he promises Suh Wang Mo that he will 'always first protect his precious wife and child' (HE'S SUCH A GREAT FATHER! AND HE HAS THESE BEAUTIFUL WHITE WINGS! XD)but in the process he ends up becoming very weak and is basically fighting just to survive because he keep shouldering all these attacks due to protecting Habaek and Suh Wang Mo :'[[[[[...it's so sad because the chapter closes with The Emperor who's been doing all these flash backs says that Habaek is his hostage, so that's WHY Habaek is with The Emperor and why he's forced to 'forget' Soah.
THIS IS GETTIN' SO FREAKING GOOD.
xoxo,
Spoons
